Abstract:

International students are familiar sights on U.S. campuses and face many challenges and

difficulties upon their arrival at U.S. colleges or universities. Often, even though this population faces many adjustment issues, they do not utilize campus resources such as mental health services available to them. Barriers such as acculturation level and language deficiency are contributing factors to their help-seeking behaviors. This paper aims to identify factors that affect help-seeking behaviors of international students.
